Promoted by experienced engineering and management professionals with over 15 Years international exposure to technical membranes, Shadeflex is focused on providing Interior & Exterior Sun and Rain Protection Solutions with Membrane Tension and Cladding Structures, Fixed and retractable Facade & Skylight Sun Screens, Fixed & Retractable Roofs, Skylights and Awnings,
Screen Management Systems for conference rooms and Auditoriums etc. Typical application areas are Atriums & Skylights; Food court & Cafeterias; Stadiums, Stands & Sports arenas; Roof top applications; Entrance structures, Patios & Walkways; Art, Icon & Signature structures; Ship Decks; Exhibition structures, Vehicle shelters; Awnings & Canopies; Tents, Gazebos & Umbrellas; Modular structures; Dismantlable &Temporary structures and miscellaneous applications like facades etc. limited only by imagination.

Shadeflex has been instrumental in realizing Membrane Structure projects covering over 500,000 Sq. feet till date in the Indian market having executed projects covering a wide variety of architectural membranes (PES, PTFE, Screen etc) for clients like UB group, Sahara India-Amby Valley, TESCO, Biocon, Fun Cinemas, NXP, Brigade Group, Bangalore Central Mall, KB Mall, Swiss Club, Hughes Software, Hewlett Packard, Embassy Group, CISCO, GEITC, Silicon County, Philips Software, RMZ Builders, NCBS, Windsor Manor Hotel, Barbeque Nation, Target BPO, ACE Group in Bangalore, Sigma Mall, Franklin Templeton – Hyderabad, The Leela – Goa. The group is currently executing a wide range of complex projects within India & abroad. The Shadeflex group has in place a modern conversion facility in Bangalore backed by its own engineering design center. Its specialized in-house expertise from “Design to Execution” is a result of working exclusively with technically demanding clients and challenging projects. Along with its collaborator, Textil Bau Gmbh., Germany, the company develops design concepts, renderings & walk -throughs; undertakes structural & membrane engineering, executing local projects ensuring global standards. With the total commitment / involvement, of its German collaborator to this Indian venture, the brand ‘Shadeflex’ stands for world-class quality architectural membrane solutions delivered locally. The use and applications of structural fabric as a building element gives designers and architects an unequalled and almost unlimited aesthetic potential. Together with being lightweight, elegant and translucent, tensile membrane structures are durable and often very economical.

Our Growth Path

Envisioned and incorporated in May 1999, in the interim years the SHADEFLEX Group has moved from strength to strength under the able guardianship of Mr. Ravi N. Krishnamurthy, its founder and Managing Director.  A B.Tech graduate from NIT, Surathkal and a PGDM from IIM, Ahmedabad he worked in various capacities from Project Consultant, Product Management to Sales & Marketing and International Business Development functions in acclaimed companies in the management stream. Having handled top management strategy assignments in the past, with his cumulative expertise he has evolved SHADEFLEX into its present stature.

SHADEFLEX today stands tall in providing lightweight roofing solutions with special emphasis on membrane structures, and looks back proudly on prestigious projects executed successfully in Africa, Belgium, Egypt, Greece, the Middle East, Singapore and India. Many of them are clients that have returned to us time and again bring to every single project that we undertake.

Shadeflex Prefabs Private limited through its Joint venture with Textil Bau Gmbh, Germany and with the help of strategic partners ie Masy International W.L.L Located in Kingdom of Bahrain, Vector Foil tech Germany GmbH and  Light weight structures Group, Canada has been able to enlarge its  product range, upgrade  machinery,  state of Art  technology and  ensure additional capacities to meet the ever increasing demands of our clients  even in peak times.
